Funding & Final Steps

The Signing Appointment
Once your loan is clear to close, it’s time to sign final documents—usually in person with a notary or escrow officer.
To prepare, you may need to:
- Bring a valid photo ID
- Submit a cashier’s check for closing costs (if applicable)
- Review the loan docs thoroughly before signing
If your funds are being wired, double-check the wiring instructions with your escrow company—over the phone, using a trusted number. Wire fraud is real, and attention to detail is critical.
Loan Funded, Deal Closed
Once your funds are received and recorded, your broker will confirm the loan has officially closed. You’re now a homeowner—or you’ve successfully completed your refinance!
Always confirm the wire transfer details were processed correctly and keep a record of the closing for your files.
